Apostle Joy Bracey-Barrett Embraces the Spirit of God’s Guidance, holding FAITHFUL & DEAR to her heart John 16:13 that Declares Holy Spirit GUIDES US INTO ALL TRUTH IN GOD!  She often quotes Jeremiah 31:3, "...: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee."  The Spirit of God teaches the TRUTH about God's everlasting and unfailing love.  This is her driving force to be crushed for God's oil and pour it into His people.   

 

Having fully given her life to Christ Jesus in January of 1999, Apostle Joy often tells of remembering dreaming and "experiencing" what she dreamt, as well as hearing the Lord speak before her 8th birthday.  She says she'd, began propositioning herself:  "If This particular thing happens tomorrow, I'm not crazy".  Spending her childhood in a ministry that didn't operate in the Gifts of the Spirit, she joined Christ Memorial Interdenominational Church Ministries under the late great D.L. McIntyre, and his wife Diane McIntyre in the year 2000.  It was under their hands on leading and impartation that she received Spiritual guidance, direction, chastening, protocol, servanthood, a continuous flow of oil, equipping for navigating the Spiritual Realm, the Prophetic, and Priesthood in the Pastoral (ordained to Preach 2002), (Ordained in the Pastoral 2004).  In 2006, she was installed as Prophetess over Haven of God Church Ministries, Dudley, NC.  In December 2015 she was Commissioned Apostle over House of Elohim, Goldsboro NC.

 

In terms of formal education Apostle Joy has earned a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, a Bachelors Degree in Justice Studies, a Masters Degree in General Administration, and a Doctorate in Divinity.  She encourages all people to "put forth an effort to learn something today, that will prepare you to empty out tomorrow."
